Whether you're exploring a place, a group or a business, you can check the events calendar by clicking 'calendar' from the 'Events' menu.
If you're exploring a group or a business, the events calendar shows only the group or business's events
If you're exploring a place, then the events calendar shows all the local events, including business events, and those group events which are open to the public.
The calendar doesn't display anything until you've chosen what sort of events you want to see, and which period you'd like to view.
Select which type of event to show in the calendar from the options. If you want to see all the events, then choose the 'all types of event' option.
Use this option to select which period you'd like to view.
If you select 'between these dates' then you get the chance to choose the start and end dates with a popup calendar:
Click the
button
to display a popup calendar, as shown to the right.
Click the previous month and next month arrows to select the month, then click on a date to select it.
If you move the mouse off the popup calendar without clicking a date, then the popup calendar will disappear.
Once you've setup the period, press the
button to display the results
The results are shown as follows:
Each separate day is indicated with a Day Heading.
Under each day heading is a list of all the events occuring that day. The following information is displayed:
To start from scratch and choose a new period, press the
button.
Alternatively, if you just want to view an earlier or later period, use the calendar pager buttons, shown on the right.
Use these buttons to show the previous or next week or month.
